Due to the recent pandemic, environmental and social issues, down to personal life events, you may feel overwhelmed, anxious, angry, depressed or distressed. You may feel stuck !
Taking steps to care for psychological well being is key to being more resilient, make better choices, and most of all embrace and enjoy what today brings.
I believe that we all have inner resources to change how we cope when faced with challenges big or small, in our daily lives or at work, in the short and long term. As an REBT / CBT psychotherapist, I see my role as empowering you to discover these resources to become your own therapist.
"Limitations can only be undone by the mind that created them"
I provide professional counselling services. I am qualified in Integrative REBT / CBT from the College of Cognitive Behaviour Therapies, London and accredited member of the National Counselling Society.
I practice integrative Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy, a Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (REBT / CBT). This enables me to draw on different approaches (e.g breathwork coaching, mindfulness, Acceptance & Commitment therapy) to suit your journey. REBT is a goal focused and short term therapy.
“Men are disturbed not by things, but by the view which they take of them“ Epictetus (Stoic philosopher).
The way we think, the way we behave and how we feel are intricately linked. Providing a non judgmental safe and compassionate place to explore, the objective of the psychotherapy is to guide you to explore, understand, challenge and progressively change how you think and thus how you feel about negative situations, yourself, others, or the world. Although the past is important, we focus mostly on the present to understand what maintains the problem you experience.
I support adults and focus particularly on:
Anxiety based disorders,
Stress at work,
Low self esteem
